Lisbrack U16 lladies secured a quarter final place in the championship when they defeated Phelim Bradys in Darkley on Monday 21/7/08.

First half goals from Leanne Murray, Rachael McGeown(2), Niamh Marley, Aoibhen Rafferty and Ciara Gallogly ensured the half-time lead. Lisbrack midfielders Leanne Murray and Niamh Marley continued to dominate possession in the second half while the defence dealt easily with any scoring threat with Faye Rice, Emma Fields and Frances Boyce always alert to any danger. Caoimhe Devlin was sound in goals and accurate with her kicks outs with Eimear Nugent and Roisin O‘Hagan working hard. Up front all forwards scored with Gemma Canavan scoring a hat-trick of points and second half goals coming from Niamh O’Hanlon and Rachael McGeown. Saoirse Farrell completed the scoring with a point.
