Granemore
Mullabrack senior ladies secured a further victory on Thursday
26/7/07 when they defeated Granemore at home.
Shauna Gallogly opened the scoring for Mullabrack with a point
and the visitors replied with a point of their own. The home side
began to dominate with Christina Crilly converting a penalty and
Shauna Gallogly adding another point. Mullabrack defence conceded a
penalty which Granemore converted to keep them in touch. Mullabrack
forwards Shauna Gallogly(3), Niamh Sutton(2), Christina Crilly(2)
and Toni Morgan(2) all added scores to leave Mullabrack in control
at half-time. 2:11 to 1:1.
Granemore took advantage of the wind in the second-half scoring
two early points however their defence could not prevent Shauna
Gallogly from winning a ball 35 metres out and going on a solo and
finishing the ball to the back of the Granemore net. Lisa Fields
added a further goal to put the match beyond the visitors. Granemore
scored a consolation goal nd point before the final whistle to leave
the result 4:11 to 2:4.
