Mullabrack v Dorsey Emmets
Mullabrack senior ladies
entertained Dorsey on Monday evening 2/7/07 in poor weather
conditions.
The home side dominated play in
all positions with Toni Morgan going on a first half scoring
spree, scoring two goals and a further two points from play.
Shauna Gallogly scored two excellent points from play and
Saoirse Farrell also sent the ball between the uprights.
Mullabrack held Dorsey scorless in the first half with Kathryn
and Gemma Rice wining the mid-field battles. Half-time score 2:5
to 0:0.
Dorsey Emmets were first to score
in the second half when a high ball was sent from long range to
the Mullabrack net. This was to be the visitors only score as
the Mullabrack defence dealt easily with any scoring chances
presented. Returning from a serious injury Ciara McSorley
demonstrated her scoring skills with two second half goals to
put the match well beyond Dorsey. Shauna Gallogly completed the
scoring with a well taken point. Final score 4:6 to 1:0
